Hosted by The Queensland African Communities come see why this has become one of Queensland’s iconic events, this celebration is held on the lawns of Africa House annually. Come experience authentic, rich, colorful, diverse and vibrant Africa culture all showcase in one place. The festival brings together 8,000+ Africans and friends of the African community from across Queensland in a spectacular showcase of the diverse African cultures and traditions through a blend of both traditional and contemporary African music performances, art & crafts display, fashion, food and stories-with a range of activities for kids.

AfriQueensland Awards

QACC having initiated a whole-month series of events to celebrate Africa month
in May each year, AfriQueensland Awards Night forms part of those celebrations to
highlight the progress and development being made by the members of the African
community and their supporters, partners and donors across the state. This is an
opportunity for you to help QACC identify and nominate those individuals and organisations who have gone above and beyond in order to build, promote and protect the positive image of the African community as well as those who’ve inspired, motivated and encouraged others to get the best out of themselves through personal development and overcoming hardships.

QACC Africa Cup

Time: 9am - 4:30pm
QACC is proud to Present for the first time in Queensland, it’s African cup tournament.The cup wll run over the month of may from 1st May to 17th.
